Generally, the content of a document is proved by bringing the original to court and where it is not possible, then it can be proved by secondary method. The usual method of proving a public document is by bringing its original or by the production of a certified true copy of the original. Once it is certified, it is unnecessary to call a witness to verify it. See Oyeniyi V. Bukoye (2013) All FWLR (Pt. 694) 87.
